Eids of the Ligna Terra

Over seven feet tall, extremely light skin, with beads and bone fetishes that they culturally laced through beards and hair. Ligna Terran Eids are typically accompanied by Usbeki ‘pairs’, that bond to their owners.

Splitting from the Prima Eids

Ligna Terran Eids were sent out to find a place of trees and wild earth, and they eventually settled in the Ligna Terran Forests above Drance and the Loman Union (who were not kingdoms yet). They eventually developed white skin and stark blue eyes to blend into their surroundings.

In the Elemental Wars

The Ligna Terran Eids fought in only minor battles at the start of the Elemental Wars. They loathed killing, and typically tried to lead human opponents into ice storms or dense forests where they would become lost.

After the Noraki Eids filed for a truce with humans and Sanguin, the Ligna Terran Eids were left to face all of humanity alone. They then abandoned both their faith of nature worship and the timidity once displayed towards hurting humans, and fought a bloody war for nearly 50 years. Eventually they grew tired of the bloodshed and, as a whole people, went farther north into the great pine forests at the tip of the Ligna Terra.

Other Information

The malum that were originally made to fight Eids now have a kinship with the Ligna Terran Eids. These Eids have befriended and bonded with Usbeki wolves, and routinely hunt along side White Things, bringing down large game.

1 Eid can be born every 50 years, on average.

Ligna Terran Eids do not have many females. Thus, they revere women as holy and will do whatever they can to protect them. There is a Matriarch for every Ligna Terran tribe that has special abilities that include inducting new Eids, calming animals, and predicting weather.
